This is one of my favorite pieces. I enjoyed designing and making it – and it fits well into its space. The top and drawer fronts are solid oak with the rest constructed of oak veneered plywood. The stain turned out well despite the small blemish on the front, probably due to some poor sanding. I like to think of those minor imperfections as signs of character. I worry about its durability but so far it is held up very well to heavy use.
