This was my first project of ambition and it was the one I had in mind since the moment I started woodworking. The living room of my new home had no obvious place to put a television so I conceived of this mobile console. It’s not perfect and the execution is that of an obvious amateur. But it fits its role and its space exactly as I had planned. I have a soft spot for this project as it gave me a significant boost in confidence, proving that I had the ability, and the patience, to overcome the challenges of major project – and there were a lot of challenges. It was after this project I knew I could broaden the scope and art of my work.
